Because not everybody maintains their vehicles properly, inspections help ensure that unsafe vehicles are kept off the road.

Because most inspection places use this as an opportunity to get more money out of you by failing your car over a tail light. Then tell you it's $36 to fix it there. I purchased a bulb for $3!!!!!!!!!
