it was insurrection, almost treason. at the LEAST it was seditious behavior and must be punished. if i 'get out of hand' during an argument, i may be prosecuted for assault or more serious crimes. same thing here.

Neither legitimate discourse or insurrection. The right answer to this is not offered. That's pretty much all of our political system at this time. It usually comes down to two unacceptable choices.
